Windows Vista Media Center very slow playback (but fine in WMP)
Frame rates on FS10 and Vista are locked at 20, and I can't get near this. I'm hitting maybe 12, and very jerky. I must admit that the scenery in Vista with DX10 is so it must be an issue with Vista, and of course DX10 is not available for other OS? $ BTW: SLI is not recognized by Windows XP, so be forewarned.

Do you have any real world example which shows Apple's method slows down... anything? The most obvious case- indeed, this is universal with Spotlight- is that when you first install Tiger, it must index everything on your disk. This makes everything jerky and slow for awhile.
