are some consistencies in Windows Vista: - Like Tourettes sufferers on morphine each program starts up in a jerky fashion so slow you can almost see the frame rate. But first it has to be woken from its coma. I've developed a permanent flinch on starting up Windows Explorer. It's that painful to experience.
